Phuong Luong, Boston University’s Financial Planning Program facilitator, has been chosen as the Investment News ‘Rising Star’ recipient. Learn how Phuong uses her leadership roles and passion to help others to be a successful advocate for financial literacy.
After graduating from Dartmouth College, Ms. Luong worked for eight years teaching math and special education in New England schools where many of the students came from families struggling with poverty and unstable housing. That feeling was part of her motivation for enrolling in the certified financial planning program here at Boston University – obtaining her financial planning certificate in 2014.
