Computer Requirements

To complete the Financial Planning program, students must have access to either a Mac or PC. We recommend that students do not use a tablet to complete coursework, as the Blackboard platform does not allow students to submit assignments or take exams (among other functions) using a tablet. The BU Tech Services website provides additional information on technical and system requirements.

Financial Calculator

For this program, you’ll need access to an HP12C financial calculator, for more information visit the Hewlett Packard website. This calculator can be purchased from multiple retailers. To learn more about how to use a financial calculator, students can also purchase the Financial Calculator Essentials book by going to the Dalton Education website.
